Many people living with ALS struggle with loneliness due to the isolating nature of the disease. Giving a quilt is like giving a warm hug of reassurance to those who receive it, and it would be even more meaningful if you including a note to the recpient. You could write words of encouragement, fun facts, or even a simple hello. Though not required, anything to support them in their journey would be appreciated. :
