Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS

• Begins August 1^st and ends July 31^st of the next year (quilts received after July 31st are automatically entered in to the next year's challenge)
• Minimum quilt size 60"x 45" or larger.
• Please note the size of your finished quilt on the Entry Form.

ALS is a devastating disease that leaves a person's body paralyzed while their mind and spirit are alert and active. By participating in the Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge you help raise awareness for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), bring warmth and hope to the lives of people living with ALS, and also help raise much needed funds for research for treatment and a cure.

All quilts donated are either given directly to patients with ALS, their family members, or are used to raise money for ALS research. 90% of the quilts we receive are given to patients, and 10% are sold on our Etsy page. All proceeds go directly to ALS research in the hopes for better treatments and eventually a cure. If you would like to donate a quilt but prefer that it be donated, or that it be sold, please specify your preference on your entry form and we will honour it!

The Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge is a non-judged challenge and all quilts donated are eligible to win prizes! There are five winning categories, each with incredible prizes from our sponsors. To see more check out our sponsor page!
